Greetings from Minnesota
HELLO BEER LOVERS, CYCLING ADVOCATES AND ENTHUSIASTS OF THE OUTDOORS!
My Name is Adam Kazilsky, and I'm the newest member of the Beer and Bike Tours family.
A student at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota, I am completing a degree in Recreational Programming and Tourism, which requires students to complete an internship lasting for several months. After chatting back and forth between Bob and my school, working for Beer and Bike Tours checked out- making the Fall of 2015 Colorado edition a go. As both a lover of beer and cycling, little could be better than combining the two. Throw in some marketing odds and business ends, and boom! An internship!
The bicycle has become an additional appendage of sorts- it's been by my side since I was just a wee lad.
My first bicycle tour was around Lake Michigan, when I was 15. Since then, I've been around an additional four times, and have toured from Illinois to Oregon and raced from Oregon to Virginia. In between my adventures, I try and hit the trails and roads as often as possible. After all, the worst day on the bike is better than the best day at work!
As for beer... it's been a bit tough to document. If you catch me around town or leading a tour, you can find me drinking a good porter or stout (most likely with a hint of coffee, chocolate or chili pepper). As a Wisconsin native, however, it's just not possible to pass up something from the New Glarus Brewing Co.
I can't wait to chat and have a beer (or two)!
See you on the road,
Adam
